BUKU MUSIC + ART PROJECT: Mardi Gras World, 1400 Port of New Orleans Place, New Orleans. Featuring performances from Run the Jewels, Deadmau5, Car Seat Headrest, Vince Staples, Sleigh Bells, and Thundercat. 


NEW ORLEANS HOME AND GARDEN SHOW: Noon to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday; Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Super Bowl Drive, New Orleans. Featuring a variety of home-related services and products.

LAKE CHARLES BLACK HERITAGE FESTIVAL: 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, Noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Civic Center, 900 Lakeshore Drive, Lake Charles. Featuring food, music and around 70 vendors. 

SICILIAN HERITAGE FESTIVAL: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. 312 E. Railroad Ave., Independence. Featuring a spaghetti cook-off, poker run, raffles, food and much more.


FRISCO FEST: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. San Francisco Plantation, 2646 La. 44, Garyville. Featuring an open car show, arts and crafts, and food.
