Schilling wined and dined its private guests with a four-course dinner and le vin to go with it. Robert “BJ” Brankline did the cooking, pairing up butternut squash soup with Custard Chardonnay, mushroom bruschetta and pinot noir followed by rib eyes and Zin, and finished by chocolate chip cookies, whipped cream and B-Side Blend. There was nothing B-side about this event, and one guest was overheard to say, “That’s the most badass outdoor kitchen I’ve ever seen.” Savoring each sip were Samantha Sullivan, and Brian and Ashley Thom and the Acadiana Symphony’s Dana Baker.
