Louisiana Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser had a surprise for President Trump as he make his second Louisiana trip of the year Tuesday to highlight the state's booming southwest industrial hub before heading to New Orleans for a high-dollar fundraiser for his reelection campaign.
Nungesser sported "Trump socks," documented by a New York Times photographer, as Trump walked off Air Force One and greeted folks at Chennault International Airport in Lake Charles.
The socks featured Trump's face and an interesting representation of the president's hair.

Trump seemed entertained by the gesture as the photo shows him motioning to people around him to scope out Nungesser's socks.
The president is scheduled to tour Sempra Energy's Cameron LNG Export Facility in Hackberry and deliver a speech on energy infrastructure and the economy — an event promoting two recent executive orders aimed at easing restrictions on energy infrastructure and promoting fossil fuel development.
