Members of the Acadiana delegation will discuss the legislative session that ended Thursday at the Acadiana Press Club’s noon forum Monday in the community room of The Daily Advertiser, 1100 Bertrand Drive.

Confirmed panelists include state Reps. Terry Landry, D-New Iberia, Stephen Ortego, D-Carencro, and Vincent Pierre, D-Lafayette. They plan to discuss the transportation, waterways, education and insurance bills they introduced and outcomes of the legislative session.

As part of the forum, the panel will field questions from the club’s membership following the discussion.

The Bus Stop food truck will be on-site for lunch. Those interested are encouraged to arrive by 11:45 a.m. to get lunch before the forum begins.

The lunch forum and membership in the Acadiana Press Club are open to journalists, media professionals, public relations professionals, public information officers, communication professors and students, retired journalists, civic and political leaders, and the general public.
