President Donald Trump’s motorcade was involved in a crash on his way to a speech in Louisiana, though the President is thought to be unhurt.
Three motorcycle officers involved with the president’s motorcade were injured in a crash, according to KPLC.
Several other media outlets reported Tuesday afternoon that passersby saw overturned motorcycles as the motorcade was leaving Chennault International Airport in Lake Charles and that there appeared to be minor injuries.
The crash happened during the president’s visit in Cameron Parish, where he is touring Sempra Energy’s LNG Export Facility.
“Calcasieu Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent confirms two Sheriff’s Office motorcycle officer, one Sulphur Police Department officer involved in accident. Officers suffered moderate, non-life-threatening injuries,” reports KPLC.
