Three Lafayette companies are among 37 companies across Louisiana that made Inc. magazine's fastest-growing U.S.-based privately-held businesses. 

A dozen companies on the list are in the Baton Rouge metro area, 15 in the New Orleans region, two near Shreveport, one in Lake Charles, two in Houma and one in Vidalia. 

The fastest-growing company in the state, ranked at 287 on the 5,000 list, was Flexicrew Technical Services in Metairie, which grew 1,541% between 2015 and 2018, to $2.7 million in revenue.

The other Louisiana-based companies' rank, growth, business sector and annual revenue are:

To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2015. The minimum revenue required for 2015 is $100,000 and minimum revenue for 2018 is $2 million. The companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies.
