Narcotics agents arrest three in Breaux Bridge drug bust _lowres

St. Martin Parish sheriff’s narcotics agents on Saturday arrested three Breaux Bridge men accused of carrying stolen guns and drugs that had an estimated street value of $40,000.

Investigators executing a search warrant on Zin Zin Road in Breaux Bridge, found a “significant amount” of high-grade marijuana, methamphetamine, carisoprodol, and hydrocodone, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Ginny Higgins said in a news release.

She said the street value of the drugs was estimated at $40,000.

Christopher Alexander 30, Damien Joubert 28, and Christopher Celestine 29, all of Breaux Bridge, were booked into St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on counts of possession with the intent to distribute Schedule I controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute a Shedule II controlled dangerous substance, possession of schedule III ontrolled dangerous substance, possession of Schedule V controlled dangerous substance, illegal carrying of firearm and illegal possession of a stolen firearm.
