A Lafayette man was arrested after allegedly stabbing his roommate, KATC reports.

Joshua St. Germaine was booked Monday on a count of attempted second-degree murder. He was booked into the Lafayette Parish jail after officers responded to a disturbance at his Westwood Drive apartment and found his roommate suffering from a stab wound, Lafayette Police spokesperson Cpl. Bridgette Dugas said.

The roommate was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition, police said.

St. Germaine’s bond was set at $100,000.
