Two Lafayette men arrested Wednesday are accused in an early morning home invasion in River Ranch.
Skylar Jones, 30, and Shawn Touchet, 22, were booked on counts of home invasion in the 3 a.m. incident, the Lafayette Police Department said in a news release.
Although the case remains under investigation, one of the men is accused of forcing his way into the home in the 200 block of Settlers Trace Boulevard and stealing electronics and money while holding a 25-year-old man at gunpoint, police said.
The second man — whom the victim told police he knew — is accused of calling the apartment’s other occupants ahead of the invasion to get them out of the house, police said.
It’s unclear which of the two men is accused in each aspect of the crime.
Both remained in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on Wednesday afternoon in lieu $25,000 bail.
