It’s smart to watch your waistline, but that doesn’t mean you have to give up those visits to your favorite restaurant. If you’re watching your calories, salt or sugar, ask your waiter if you can make substitutions or find healthier items on the menu. More and more eateries are offering light menus with delicious choices that include steamed vegetables, lean meats that are baked or broiled rather than fried, and lighter sauces.
