A dead man’s body was found in a shallow ditch off Industrial Boulevard across from Dow Chemical near Plaquemine, the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office reported.
A call came in reporting the discovery of the body around 7 a.m., said Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office Maj. Johnny Blanchard.
Blanchard said it’s a male body.
Blanchard said deputies don’t have any other details to release right now.
