spring inshore season: Closed from the Louisiana-Mississippi line west to the western shore of Freshwater Bayou Canal except for the open waters of Breton and Chandeleur sounds seaward of the “double-rig line and in Mississippi Sound. State Wildlife and Fisheries announced July 29 that all remaining state inside waters as well as all state outside waters seaward of the Inside/Outside Shrimp Line remain open until further notice.
