Ruffino’s Catering has a new downtown Baton Rouge location — De La Ronde Hall at 320 Third St.
It hosted its official opening party on May 7 in the grand ballrooms with Mayor-President Kip Holden cutting the grand opening ribbon.
In addition to the catering facility, De La Ronde Hall is also now home to Ruffino’s corporate offices. Company officials said De La Ronde Hall is capable of hosting events with 30 to 500 guests, including but not limited to weddings, business luncheons, holiday parties, and sorority and fraternity formals.
Thursday, May 29, is the final day to register at Raising Cane’s to win a $1,000 donation to your favorite local charity as well as free Cane’s for a year.
The restaurant’s Give Back Giveaway kicked off May 22 with the opening of the latest Raising Cane’s restaurant at the corner of Third and Florida streets in the historic Richoux building in downtown Baton Rouge.
The opening of the downtown location marks the 19th Raising Cane’s in the Greater Baton Rouge area.
Zea’s and Father’s Day
Zea Rotisserie & Grill will celebrate Father’s Day by offering a free four-pack of Zea signature brew to all fathers who dine in on June 15 with a minimum purchase of two entrees. Participating locations include the greater New Orleans area, Slidell, Covington, Baton Rouge and Lafayette.
The Free Beer for Dad promotion on June 15 awards fathers with a four-pack that includes one of each style of the handcrafted beers: Clearview Golden Lager, Zea Amber Lager, Category 5 American Pale Ale and Pontchartrain Porter.

Maple Street Patisserie’s newest concept, Maple Street Patisserie et Bistro, opened Wednesday at 8300 Earhart Blvd., New Orleans.
Founded in 2010 by Ziggy Cichowski and Patricia-Ann Donohue, Maple Street Patisserie specializes in handcrafted, European-style pastries.
