This year’s Groovin’ on the Grounds will feature a mix of hip-hop, dance and even a few local classical vibes.
Groovin’ on the Grounds is set for Friday, April 8 at the PMAC at LSU. Doors open at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Floor seating is available to students with an LSU ID.
Santigold is the singer and producer behind hits such as “Creator” and “Lights Out.” In February, she released her third studio album, “99¢,” which features the singles “Can’t Get Enough of Myself” and “Banshee.” Groovin’ on the Grounds is her only appearance in the state this year.
Danny Brown’s last release was 2013’s “Old,” which featured the singles “Dip,” “25 Bucks,” and “Smokin & Drinkin.”
Ship of Fools is a Baton Rouge band that has released one single and is currently recording a debut.
