Angela Hill, who retired in 2013 as a news anchorwoman at WWL-TV, is leaving WWL Radio, the station announced Friday afternoon.
'Scoot' will replace Hill in the 1-4 p.m. weekday time slot.
“It’s been an amazing experience, one I will always cherish, but it’s time to do other things," Hill said in a news release.
Less than six months after her retirement from WWL-TV, Hill announced she would begin hosting a new radio talk show called “The Open Mind."
Other changes to WWL AM and FM include:
-- Starting July 29, Kristian Garic and T-Bob Hebert will folllow SportsTalk weeknights from 8 p.m.-midnight.
-- Sister station 3WL 1350am will become all NBC Sports Radio plus Tom Fitzmorris from 3-6 p.m.
