LOUISIANA MARATHON: Opens 11 a.m. Friday, 7 a.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday. Downtown Baton Rouge. The annual running festival features the Louisiana Expo in the Raising Cane's River Center, a rum run on Friday, music, food, 5K, kids run, and quarter-, half- and full marathons.

2018 MID-WINTER FAIR RODEO: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Blackham Coliseum, 2330 Johnston St., Lafayette. Professionals compete in various rodeo events. $14 and up for adults, $11 and up for children ages 3 and up.


LOUISIANA STREET FOOD FESTIVAL: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Louisiana Memorial Plaza, 305 River Road, Baton Rouge. Featuring food from more than 20 street food chefs and music from Lost Bayou Ramblers, starting at 3 p.m. Free to attend.


BATON ROUGE JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL: Manship Theatre, 100 Lafayette St., Baton Rouge. Featuring a screening of the 2016 drama "Denial" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and the 2017 dark comedy "Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer" at 3 p.m. Sunday. $10.50 per screening.,
