Tell us about what you’re wearing.

“I’m wearing a Doncaster cream knit dress accented with an animal print scarf that’s also from Doncaster. My leopard-print boots are Donald J Pliner that my daughter found at Dillard’s in Amarillo, Texas. They didn’t have them in Baton Rouge, so I went online and bought them. My Betsyville purse was a birthday gift from my granddaughter, Rebecca Herrmann, from Amarillo. The hat I bought that day at the Bengal Belles luncheon (Sept. 6) from Haute Dames Couture Milliners.”

What’s the best fashion advice you’ve ever gotten?

“Select fashions that I feel good wearing and that are comfortable.”

What’s your favorite trend right now?

“Wearing skirts and dresses of all lengths; whatever goes with the style and the figure.”

“I like handbags and shoes but more shoes and boots.”

“I could not do without Prescriptives Super Line Preventer and Prescriptives moisture cream.

“‘Hot pants’ in the ’70s.”

Your house is on fire and you can grab only one thing out of your closet; what would it be?

“If the house caught on fire I would run for my full-length mink and all my jewelry.”
