NAME: Rachel McKowen White, Lindsey | AGE: 53 | OCCUPATION: Owner of Gorgeous Distributors. I sell professional hair color called Keune to licensed cosmetologists.

Tell us about what you’re wearing.

“Gray shorts and a zebra-striped shirt with gray sparkly sandals, John Hardy and Brighton bracelets, a turquoise ring and zebra-striped earrings with bling.”

What most influences your style?

“Mainly magazines. But I do go to the Atlanta market, and I’m in the hair industry and I go to hair shows, so I see a lot of really fashionable people. But I’ve always been a color kind of person. I like to mix colors. I’m not going to wear just black and white. I’m going to add red or turquoise or purple.”

What’s your favorite fashion trend?

“Blue jeans. I like nice linen jackets with blue jeans and heels for corporate.”

What trend do you wish was over?

“Big shirts. Women just lose their shape in them.”

Finish this sentence. I splurge on …

“Boots. I have a whole closet of boots. I buy them in consignment shops, particularly in Atlanta.”

I skimp on …

“Necklaces, probably.”

Are you a shoe or handbag kind of woman?

How many pairs do you have?

“I have 50 pairs of boots. Of course I don’t wear them all. And flip-flops alone, I probably have 200 pairs. The funkier the better. The more off beat, the more people will talk to me.”

Name a celebrity whose closet you would like to raid.

“Julia Roberts. I like her personality.”

What’s your can’t-live-without beauty product?

“Facial cream — Estee Lauder Day Wear. I get that from my mom. She was 88 and had beautiful skin.”

Your house is on fire and you can grab only one thing in your closet. What would it be?

“My turquoise belt. I have the finest turquoise belt. It goes with anything, a dress, suit or jeans.”
