Louisiana contestant Sadie Robertson has made it to Tuesday’s finale of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”
The “Duck Dynasty” reality show personality and her professional dance partner Mark Ballas wowed the judges Monday night with a repeat of the samba they performed Oct. 6, dancing to Pharrell’s “Hunter.” The couple scored 38/40 with the judges. Their second performance, a freestyle dance, harkened back to the classic “Super Mario” video game, with Robertson dressed as Princess Peach and Ballas as Mario. On this they scored a perfect 40.
Joining them in Tuesday’s finale are “Pretty Little Liar’s” Janel Parrish and pro Valentin Chmerkovskiy, and “The French Prince of Bel-Air’s” Alfonso Ribeiro and partner Witney Carson.
Monday night’s show had another Louisiana connection as Houma native and Oscar nominee Quvenzhané Wallis and more of the cast of the upcoming feature film “Annie” performed “It’s the Hard Knock Life.” The movie opens in theaters Dec. 19.
A “Dancing with the Stars” recap show airs at 7 p.m. Tuesday, followed by the two-hour finale at 8 p.m. The show airs on cable Channel 5 in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, and cable Channel 11 in New Orleans.
