What do Ian Somerhalder, Shane West and Wes Brown have in common?
Well, besides good looks and being from Louisiana, the trio are all part of the fall TV season.
Somerhalder, who hails from Covington, began his third season Thursday night as evil brother Damon Salvatore on the CW’s “The Vampire Diaries.” Somerhalder is best-known for his role as Boone on ABC’s “Lost.” In addition to numerous guest-starring TV roles, he’s also done feature films and off-Broadway work.
West, a Baton Rouge native, stars as Michael in “Nikita,” also on the CW. The show begins its second season Friday. West starred on NBC’s long-running drama “ER.” He’s also done feature films and got his big break on the ABC drama “Once and Again” in 1999.
Brown, who was raised in Baton Rouge, has landed two recurring roles this season, as Ryan Kerrigan on ABC’s “Private Practice” and as Dr. Judson Lyons on the CW’s new “Hart of Dixie.” He was recently seen on Hallmark Channel’s “Love Begins” and has done numerous guest-starring roles on TV, as well as feature film work.
