The true crime/memoir book investigates the cold case murder of Baton Rouge Sonic Drive-In franchise owner Gary Kergan in 1984.

Bienvenu, a strong advocate for the preservation of the Acadian culture, is a chef/instructor at the Chef John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University, and the author, contributor and editor of a number of cookbooks. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Limited seating; admission is free. Refreshments will be served.
