A 24-hour "A Call to Watch" event will be held from 6 p.m. June 11 to 6 p.m. June 12 on the steps of the State Capitol.

Led by the Vessels of Honor prayer ministry in Baton Rouge, the event will include praise and worship, declarations and intercessors calling out the names of state and federal governmental leaders, first responders, school leaders and more during eight prayer watches.

The eight prayer watches are: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. — "A Time of Insightful Paths"; 9 p.m. to midnight — "A Time of Thanks and Examination"; midnight to 3 a.m. — "A Time of Spiritual Warfare"; 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. — "A Time of Freedom and Rebirth"; 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. — "A Time of Testimony and Declaration"; 9 a.m. to noon — "A Time for Reconciliation and Restoration"; noon to 3 p.m. — "A Time for Moving into the Private Place"; and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. — "A Time to Mold and Transform Times."
