Yields 11/2 dozen biscuits. Recipe is by Teresa B. Day.
3 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
4 tablespoons cold butter
1 cup milk
1/3 cup honey
1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
2. Grease a baking sheet or cast iron skillet with butter.
3, In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in cold butter. Whisk together milk and honey, then stir into dry ingredients.
4. Roll dough out to 1 inch thick and cut into rounds with a glass. Place near each other on the baking sheet or in the skillet. (You may have to make two batches or use two skillets.)
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden. Serve warm for breakfast or with tea.
