Add Ponchatoula native and 2015 "The Voice" finalist Meghan Linsey to the list of NFL players, coaches and entertainers who protested during the national anthem at games on Sunday.
The protesters say they are showing their objection to racism and injustice.
Linsey, who now lives in Nashville, Tennessee, performed the anthem as scheduled before the start of the Tennessee Titans-Seattle Seahawks matchup at Nissan Stadium in Music City. As the song ended, Linsey, 31, and her accompanying guitarist took a knee together at midfield before their exit.
Both teams, meanwhile, had chosen to stay in their locker rooms during the anthem.
Linsey moved to Nashville when she was 18 to pursue a music career. Her new album, "Bold Like a Lion," is scheduled to drop Nov. 3.
