Beyoncé was working overtime last weekend: After releasing a new song Saturday and performing at the Super Bowl on Sunday, she’s announced a new stadium tour.
The Grammy-winning singer announced her 2016 Formation World Tour in a commercial after she performed at the halftime show with Bruno Mars and Coldplay.
The tour will open April 27 in Miami, and the diva will perform shows in North America and Europe. The tour wraps July 31 in Brussels.
Tickets are already on sale, with some going for as much as $8,990 through vividseats.com.
The singer was last on a stadium tour — the On the Run Tour with husband Jay Z — in 2014, a year after she headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans.
Sadly, fans in Louisiana will have to travel to Texas to see her. The closest tour stops are in Houston on May 7 and in Dallas on May 9.
Sunday’s halftime performance included Beyoncé’s new song, “Formation.”
The video for “Formation,” which is set in New Orleans and features the singer on top of a cop car, caused an Internet frenzy thanks to its political imagery. The song features a vocal sample from New Orleans bounce queen Big Freedia.
