Andy Dupuy, president/CEO of Brown & Root, was named the Kiwanian of the Year at the Red Stick Kiwanis Installation & Awards Banquet Oct. 13 at the City Club.

The award was presented by club President Tom Gibbs, who also gave a tribute to member Gary LaBauve, outgoing Lt. Gov. of District 8B. Emcee for the evening festivities was Charlie Roberts.

Special guests for the banquet included Baton Rouge Magnet High School Key Club President Daphne Luzaran, Lt. Gov. Kari Stephens and faculty advisor Kim DiVincenti Denson; outgoing LaMissWTenn Gov. Gary Graham; current LaMissWTenn Gov. Fred Pitts; and LaBauve's successor, Michele Crosby, from the Denham Springs club.

Graham and Pitts conducted the installation of officers and board members. They included Gibbs, President-elect Bob Waggener, Secretary Philip DiVincenti, past President Matt Robinson and board members Jon Goeckel, Laura Gilliland and LaBauve. Treasurer Bob Breaux and board members Jerry Hammons, Wendy LeBlanc, Russ London, Mike Nichols and Jacques Villaume will be installed at a later date.

The club also welcomed new member Ryan Jordan, who was introduced by his uncle, Charlie Jordan, and inducted by Pitts and Graham.
