The new home at 7415 N. Eisworth Ave. is a tall traditional offering with wood floors, granite countertops and lots of charm. The home, located in The Village at Magnolia Square in the city of Central, has four bedrooms, three baths and more than 2,700 square feet of living area.
The Village at Magnolia Square is a Traditional Neighborhood Development that is primarily residential, with some light commercial in the front of the development. Hillco Construction, owned by Dave Hill, is the builder of this week’s home.
A brick driveway apron matches the wide brick sidewalk up to the brick front porch. It’s a nice entry with tall custom doors. Immediately left of the foyer is the home’s guest suite, complete with its own full bath.
The kitchen and formal dining room are next, followed by the living room towards the back of the home. The kitchen has painted cabinetry with an additional row of cabinets on top. A huge island is topped by 3cm granite that nicely complements the granite on the countertops. Big subway tiles back the counters. Interestingly, there are no electrical outlets in the backsplashes. Instead, they’re hidden away up under the cabinetry, leaving a much cleaner look in this kitchen.
The appliance package is brand new Maytag stainless, including a five-burner gas cooktop and a microwave-over-oven combo. The double stainless sink is below a window, and a big walk-in pantry is below the staircase.
Most of the windows in the home have transoms above, allowing lots of natural light into this bright residence. Interior doors are eight feet under 12-foot ceilings. Baseboards are extra tall, and coved crown molding lines ceilings throughout the home.
The formal dining room has a pair of big windows to the covered back porch, which is home to an outdoor kitchen. Two fans overhead cool the cook, who can barbecue on the Blaze grill and grab a cold beverage out of the Blaze mini-fridge. A two-burner cooktop flanks the big grill.
Back inside, a mudroom with a drop off area is near the laundry, which connects to the master closet. The mudroom and laundry are both just steps away from the exit to the home’s two-car garage.
The living room has more of the narrow-plank engineered wood floors, along with a gas log fireplace with a ceramic tile surround. Want a cozy fire? All you have to do is flip a switch and an igniter starts the fire for you.
The master suite is private and secluded from the rest of the home. “It’s a nice floorplan,” said Kelly Momenzadeh, the KDK Capital Region Realty agent marketing the home.
The master bedroom has a ceiling fan and windows to the back yard, which is surrounded by a tall wood privacy fence. The marble master bath has an interesting herringbone pattern in the marble tiles on the floor. Master bath highlights include a 6-foot soaker tub and a frameless corner shower. Custom mirrors with sconces are above the two custom vanities and the makeup desk.
Meanwhile, up the custom staircase in the foyer, two bedrooms are connected by a Hollywood bath. The landing at the top of the stairs could be used as a kids’ den, a sitting room or even a small library.
