Food distribution by the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank on Turner Road Thursday May 21, 2020, in Port Allen, La. Folks drive up where National Guard and volunteers put the boxes in their cars to minimize contact. Food Bank officials have seen the need for food boxes increase during the Coronavirus pandemic as they struggle to keep up with that demand amidst declines in donations because grocery stores are having trouble keeping their shelves stocked right now. Mike Manning, the president and CEO of the Food Bank, is concerned they'll hit a wall, running out of food and the ability to service their clients if things don't change.
