Approximately 125 children participated in Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish’s annual Easter egg hunt on March 20.

The hunt took place on the church grounds, following the 11 a.m. Mass.

There were four age divisions: 4 years and under; prekindergarten, kindergarten and first grade; second and third grades; fourth and fifth grades. Two coveted golden eggs were hidden in each age division.

The winners were Eliza Graham and Patrick Boyle, 4 years and under; Cameron Baker and Rich Akin, prekindergarten, kindergarten and first grade; Mackenzie O’Brien and Dawson Stoeckle, second and third grades; and Edwin Perrault and Carley Helouin, fourth and fifth grades. They each received an Easter basket filled with candy and games.

The hunt is sponsored by the Sacred Heart of Jesus Youth Group. The group moderator is Lori Tomececk.
