Brandon Coffee’s short film, “Kevin & Bert,” was a gold winner in the Animation or Special Effects student category at the national American Advertising Federation Awards in Anaheim, California, on June 7.
Coffee is believed to be the first student from Baton Rouge to receive a national ADDY, according to AAF Baton Rouge.
“Kevin & Bert” also was honored at the local and district levels, winning gold and Best of Show at the Baton Rouge AAF Awards in February.
Coffee created the film as his senior thesis project at LSU, where he graduated in December with a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design. He is employed with Digital FX in Baton Rouge.
