A man’s body was found in debris piled up on bank of the Mississippi River between the I-10 bridge and the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino and Hotel.
Baton Rouge Police don’t know if foul play is involved, said Cpl. L’Jean McKneely, a police spokesman.
McKneely said police responded after receiving a call from the casino at 7:20 a.m. Friday.
East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner Beau Clark said it does not appear as though foul play is involved in the man’s death, but an autopsy has been scheduled.
Clark said he was told the man was an employee of the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino and Hotel who rode his bicycle to work every day.
