Tickets for Saturday’s washed-out New Orleans Jazz Festival, which ended early amid storms, will be honored on Sunday, festival organizers announced. The festival will open as scheduled Sunday at 11 a.m.
After a day cut short by thunderstorms, canceling several headliners, the fest announced that any purchased ticket that was used for entry on Saturday will also be valid for entry on Sunday.
Festival officials issued the following statement shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday:
Jazz Fest is scheduled to open on Sunday, May 1.
All unused second weekend tickets will be valid for entry on Sunday.
Any purchased ticket that was used for entry on Saturday, April 30 will also be valid for entry on Sunday.
• Simply present the ticket scanned on Saturday at any pedestrian gate for re-entry on Sunday.
• For print-at-home tickets that are no longer in possession, customers can reprint the ticket via their ticketmaster.com account.
• For purchased hard tickets (Ticketmaster-branded ticket stock) that are no longer in possession, the customer should go to the box office at the Gentilly Blvd. or Sauvage St. ticket gates to verify their account (with proper ID and credit card used to purchase tickets), and the tickets will be reprinted.
• Tickets purchased from any unauthorized source that are no longer in possession will not be eligible.
