East Baton Rouge will have a "standstill" 2018 budget, according to a financial report released Friday.

"As previously stated, minimal sales tax growth over 2017 is anticipated based on the recommendations of the economists," the finance department report states.

The budget will be officially revealed at a 4 p.m. meeting of the Metro Council in City Hall. Spending debates will follow over the next few weeks before the budget is officially adopted in December.
