United Way raises $52K at Jambalaya Jam on Oct. 8 _lowres

Capital Area United Way hosted the 28th annual Jambalaya Jam on Oct. 8 along North Boulevard with 47 corporate teams competing for the best jambalaya title.

The event raised approximately $52,000, which will benefit Capital Area United Way’s focus on education, income and health in the 10-parish area.

Atmos Energy won first place, with the ExxonMobil Complex 2 team placing second and the Triad team third.
