EBRSO Nick Tullier

East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Sid Gautreaux, Sgt. Bruce Simmons and others from EBRSO traveled to Houston to visit Nick Tullier, who was injured in the July 17 officer shooting. Simmons was one of Tullier's fellow officers injured in the ambush that killed three people.

Deputy Nick Tullier's fiance, Danielle Mcnicoll, posted a video this week showing Tullier maneuvering a power wheelchair outside the Houston hospital where he is undergoing rehabilitation.

Tullier is able to drive the chair by turning his head, Mcnicoll says in the post. "He's having a blast," she said. Tullier, an parish deputy shot by a gunman on July 17 in Baton Rouge, has been undergoing therapy at TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
