DuraSteam, a Baton Rouge carpet and upholstery cleaning company, has purchased an office building on Industriplex Boulevard to move its operations there.

Deal Properties LLC bought the building at 11920 Industriplex for $610,000 in a transaction that closed Wednesday, said Grey Hammett, of Mike Falgoust and Associates. Deal Properties is led by Chip and Natalie Deal, the couple that own DuraSteam. The seller was L.C.K. International of Houston.

The Industriplex property is just under 0.7 acre and includes a 5,250-square-foot building.

DuraSteam has outgrown its offices at 11430 Cedar Park, which are less than a mile away. When the Industriplex building became available, the Deals decided to move on the property because it gives them additional space, more road exposure and excess land that can be used by the business or as a site for rental office/warehouse space, Hammett said.

Lance Ginn and Austin Lolan, of Beau Box Commercial Real Estate, represented the seller.
