Rusty Cloutier, president and chief executive officer of Lafayette-based MidSouth Bancorp., continued his criticism of banks that are “too big to fail” in an interview on Bloomberg Radio.

In the interview on “The Hays Advantage”, Cloutier says the Dodd-Frank bill doesn’t solve the issue and that studies show the six largest U.S. banks increased their competitive advantage over community banks.

Cloutier is the author of “Big Bad Banks: How Greed and Ego Among the Big Shots in Banking and Government Created the Crisis That Wrecked Our Economy”.
