Laborde & Neuner law firm in Lafayette has changed its name to NeunerPate as the firm expands with new offices in New Orleans and Metairie to better serve clients across the state.

The new name also coincides with the departure of Cliffe E. Laborde III, who was part of Laborde & Neuner for more than 25 years, the firm said.

Senior founding and managing partner Frank X. Neuner Jr. will continue to lead the firm along with senior partner James L. Pate.

In Metairie, the recent acquisition of deLaup & Enright LLC provides NeunerPate with a new location and two attorneys, while office space secured in the Pan American Life Center will be used for meetings in New Orleans, the firm said.
