The Bianca Mosca fashion brand, once known for its handsewn alligator bags, wallets and accessories, is being relaunched with goods made from Louisiana alligators.

London entrepreneurs Timothy de Rosen and Leslie Kent are resurrecting Bianca Mosca, which has been out of business for close to 70 years. The company will offer online, made-to-order service for alligator wallets, cardholders, pouches and bracelets. The skins will come from Louisiana alligator farms. The farm gators are listed as of “Least Concern” by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

The goods will be made by hand in French workshops. Each item will take five to 10 hours of labor.
