CASA set to raffle playhouse

The Court Appointed Special Advocates playhouse raffle will be Nov. 18.

Tickets are $10 and will include two chances to win a custom-designed playhouse, organizers said.

An official ribbon cutting for the 2011 Cottages for CASA Playhouse and the Shrimp Boots preview party kicked off raffle ticket sales. The playhouse is complements of April Wehrs, of the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce.

The goal, organizers said, is to raise money to support the group’s mission to give “voice, healing and security to children” and to increase awareness of CASA.

Tickets for the Cottages for CASA Playhouse Raffle can be purchased at all Child Advocacy Services office locations. To find a location, go to or call (800) 798-1575.
