Three people were arrested Friday after agents confiscated $245,000 worth of drugs, cash and a handgun from a building in Walker, Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard said in a news release Friday.
Members of the sheriff’s Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 11000 Buddy Ellis Road, No. 128 of Building 1, where “through an extensive investigation, detectives learned illegal narcotics were being stored, manufactured and sold,” Ard said.
The agents seized 1,364 grams of methamphetamine (estimated value $163,680), 500 grams of cocaine powder (estimated value $60,000), 724 grams of marijuana (estimated value $21,720), a Smith & Wesson 40 caliber automatic handgun and $7,000 in cash, Ard said.
Arrested were Frank Demouchet, of 11000 Buddy Ellis Road, No. 128, Walker; Bryalon Dugas, of 1126 Barton St., Breaux Bridge; and Dionel Burrell, of 5579 Resweber Highway, St. Martinville, on a number of drug manufacturing, possession and intent to distribute counts, the sheriff said.
