The new Clinton Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market celebrated its grand opening during a ribbon-cutting ceremony April 29.
The store, 9181 Plank Road, is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
It is approximately 12,000 square feet and offers a wide assortment to meet the needs of Clinton residents, Wal-Mart associate Rachael Stanton said.
“The new store offers fresh produce and a full line of groceries from leading brand names, including organic selections,” Stanton said.
By working with growers, Stanton said, Wal-Mart is able to provide farm-grown quality produce. There is also a wide variety of meat and bakery selections, she said.
In addition to groceries, the store features a pharmacy, fuel station, health and beauty aids, pet products, hardware and cleaning supplies.
Clinton residents can shop for additional items including toys, electronics and home decor at Walmart.com, store manager Shawn Roberts said.
“The pharmacy will offer a full range of products and services and pharmacy team members to assist customers with product and prescription questions,” Roberts said.
Roberts said Clinton residents can transfer prescriptions and order refills with the Wal-Mart mobile app for iPhone and Android.
