Color Run planned
The West Feliciana Parish school district will host its first My School Color Run, an untimed 5K fun run for all ages and fitness abilities, on March 3 as a fundraiser.
“Rather than sell goods, we want to engage the entire student body in a fitness initiative that aims to encourage a lifelong healthy way of living,” Kati Williamson said.
Along the route, participants pass through vibrant color zones.
Participants who register by Feb. 16 will receive a T-shirt, race bib and individual color packet to throw in the air at the final color celebration at the finish line.
Sign up at events.myschoolcolor.com and search for the event or complete a paper registration form. Business sponsorship opportunities are available.
