Holy Ghost School cheerleaders win awards _lowres

Holy Ghost Catholic School cheerleaders, consisting of students in fifth through eighth grades, won several awards at the Universal Cheerleading Camp this summer, including second place in Cheer and Extreme Routine, first place in Band Dance and Sideline and overall Camp Champs.

They also received the spirit banana and spirit sticks daily. Their mascot, “Paul the Patriot,” received an All-Star Award and overall Camp Champ in the mascot division.

Eighth-graders Alexis Lee, Caroline Ingraffia, and Drew Barzenick were chosen as All-Stars. The cheerleader sponsor and coach is Laureen DiGiovanni.
