As part of Independence Leadership Academy's Valentine's Day Random Acts of Kindness project, students in all grade levels created valentines for the Independence community, including the Mayor's Office, Police Department, Fire Department and the Independence Branch Library.
The students also spread love to the Tangipahoa Parish school system's board, superintendent and the departments at the school system central office.
