What are you looking forward to in your eighth-grade year at Sacred Heart of Jesus School?

IAN BARBER: I’ve been looking forward to the volleyball game against the teachers since I was in pre-K. I’m also looking forward to the teachers' eighth-grade lip sync battle.

GABI BARBIN: I’m excited about the new teachers and about the different activities we get to do as eighth-graders.

WILLIE BRACKEN: I’m looking forward to getting good grades and being successful.

MADELEINE BROWN: This year, I’m looking forward to the dunking booth at Fall Fest. I’m also looking forward to the lip sync battle.

ANNA CHAPMAN: I’m looking forward to the lip sync battle against the teachers.

KELBY CHENEVERT: I’m looking forward to the volleyball game against the teachers, the lip sync battle, second-grade buddies and our eighth-grade trip.

ALEX CHRISTOFI: I can’t wait to play in the eighth-grade versus teachers volleyball game and compete in the lip sync battle. I like being a role model for other students at Sacred Heart. It’s also fun being in the dunking booth at Fall Fest.

BEREND GANDT: I think this year’s activities in computer (class) are going to be pretty neat. I also think with the new principal that there are going to be new and exciting things.

CLAIRE GRAVES: This year, I am excited about being an eighth-grader. We get to do so many fun things together and we get to be role models for the younger children.

ASIA GREEN: I’m looking forward to all the privileges as an eighth-grader.

BROOKLYN HOFFMAN: I’m looking forward to many things this eighth-grade year: being in the dunking booth at Fall Fest, our eighth-grade fun day and our eighth-grade graduation. It’ll be exciting.

HILLARY LEONARD: Being an eighth-grader at Sacred Heart makes me excited and sad. It’s sad because it’s my last year at this wonderful school and I’m excited because it is a new start in my life ... high school.

JACK MASSEY: I’m excited about our eighth-grade field trip. We always have the coolest field trips.

ZOIE MONROE: As an eighth-grader at Sacred Heart, I’m looking forward to our annual lip sync battle against the teachers and getting to help our second-graders during Mass.

FRANCES RHODES: I’m looking forward to all the super fun eighth-grade activities that we get to do and eighth-grade privileges. I’m also looking forward to getting ready to go to high school and having new experiences.

BLAKE SAVOIE: I’m looking forward to all the sports this year. I’m also looking forward to P.E. fun.

CECE WERTH: As an eighth-grader, I’m looking forward to being one of the main role models of the school. I’m also looking forward to getting out of school almost two weeks early.
