Baton Rouge’s United States Tennis Association team is the winner of the USTA League 18 and Over 8.0 Mixed Doubles National Championship. A Baton Rouge tennis team brought home the top prize from the USTA League 18 and Over 8.0 Mixed Doubles National Championship held at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama.

Captained by Keith Armstrong, the national champion team includes Natalie Calloway, Gerard Suhor, Andree Padial, Wesley Mayers, Hope Willis, Cade Bogan, Lacey McGill, Martin Padial, Collin Andry, Jamie Lanier Hamilton, Tammy Noonan, Gregory Suhor, Kelley Butler, Corbett Christian, Ben Boudreaux, Michael Caine, Theodore Kennedy and Mackenzie Noonan. The team plays at City-Brooks Community Park.

The team won its round-robin flight contests, defeated a Salt Lake City team 3-0 in the semifinals and captured the championship with its 2-1 victory over a team from Pleasanton, California.
