Kickball tournament benefits United Way _lowres

The Foundation for Louisiana’s Community and Technical Colleges hosted its second annual Kicking for a Cause kickball tournament to benefit the Capital Area United Way on Sept. 26 in Baton Rouge.

The tournament began with a check presentation to Capital Area United Way for $2,000.

Participating teams included Capital Area United Way, Jacobs, Baton Rouge Community College, Fletcher Technical Community College and the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, with participants from River Parishes Community and Northwest Louisiana Technical colleges.

Team BRCC took home the first-place trophy. Second place went to Team LCTCS, and the Fletcher team finished third.
