Jermaine Williams

Jermaine Williams is the new head boys basketball coach at Parkview Baptist School.

He has been the high school physical education teacher and assistant basketball coach of Parkview’s girls and boys teams for the past two years.

Williams graduated in 1998 from Parkview, where he was a member of the 1997 and 1998 state championship basketball team and three-time district champions. He was awarded All District, All Metro and All State honors and ranked among the top 100 USA Today High School Basketball Players.

After graduating from Parkview, Williams received a basketball scholarship to LSU, where he was a two-year starter and member of the SEC Conference Championship and Sweet 16 in the 1999-2000 season. His post-college career in professional basketball saw him play in England, Iceland, Switzerland and Australia. His overseas accolades included Most Valuable Player, International Sports Personality of the Year, All-Star Forward and Leading League Scorer.
