School Principal Judy Armstrong said the school "community benefited from the generosity of so many last year as we experienced the impact of devastating floods."

"During that time, we made a promise to ourselves that we would never watch devastation in other areas without taking action to help," Armstrong said. "Our students were so thankful to receive donated new shoes and socks that we felt that we would do the same for other children. The gift cards allow the parents the opportunity to purchase food, cleaning supplies and personal items for their families."
